Youth and Surveillance
The kids are back from summer break. The student body this year looks like the population of the Hotel Cafe from Sunday night (when I took in Never At Night, Kissing Cousins, and Death House Chaplain) but multipled many times: guys with shaggy beards and girls with long, stringy hair, huge sunglasses, and old sundresses. Well, there are also jocks, fratboys, and dorks, but a lot of those people look like Silverlake as well.Sorry this is so brief: I'm a bit distracted at the moment by this article. Does the world have to constantly become a worse and worse place to live in?
